Basic Account residents - check your credit card statement

As per Linden Lab’s notification, they’ve incorrectly billed a number of basic (free) account holders. If you hold a free account you might like to check your credit card statement.

  • My account was one of the ones affected. As I have no payment info on file, it didn't result in loss of funds, but my account is blocked for non-payment of fees. And they say to contact Billing Support via the Support Portal - that section isn't accessible to free account holders. I tried it this morning and got an automated reply saying my ticket would be ignored.
