I think SL is a bit like sex, the newbies are like sperm,
so many but only a few will ever grow into something special.
Newbies on the main grid are a bit like toddlers, always a bit silly, confused and troublesome, but with help can really bloom... and I have seen this happen several times.
It's lovely to see that spark go off, when they "get it" and from then on it's a pretty easy ride.
